My research interests are focused on understanding hemodynamics in vasculature, especially when pathologies are presented, such as aneurysms or stenotic arteries, by computational fluid dyamics (CFD) or image processing. Besides, I’m very curious about the effect of endovascular therapies (coiling and stenting) on flow alterations, the development of new endovascular devices and how computational modeling can predict treatment outcomes to support clinicians in their decision.
